Grouse Mountian, located 10 min from central Vacnouver. Full of wildlife, outdoor activites, and good eating. We started off our outdoor learning activity by jumping on the charter bus, driving down the highway 1, westbound towards our destination. Traffic was good so we arrived in about an hour, hour and a half. We dismounted our trasportation, got our tickets, and headed up the gondala. We were greated by the fog, walking down a path we could hardly see, freezing cold. We were lead to a building in the trees, tought about the 6 groups of classification of biology. We were then showed some bear and other large animal skulls that are located in the mountain range. We then had an epic show about the aboriginal people, and did alittle dance, my group was the wolf pack, the warrior group. Then it was lunch time! the pound poutine was calling my name. After lunch we saw the two bears, Grinder and Coola. They were huge! All and all a great day of learning.
